Details: Jinotenga lies north of the capital Managua and is also called "coffee capital". Nicaragua is a relatively small country that in the past was marked by repeated natural disasters and political unrest. For over 100 years the plantation San Ramon is run by the Rizzo family, now in the 4th generation. There are about 12-18 containers of very fine SHG qualities cultivated each year. SHG is strictly high grown (from 1500m).
