Eighty9 Coffee No. 139 Sumatra Kerinci - Alko - 250g

This Indonesian coffee comes from the small coffee gardens of Western Sumatra which sit in the shadow of the beautiful Kerinci Volcano. The Alko Co-operative has been running since 2013 and has 400 farmer members. Grown at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level the coffee cherries are processed by floating and separating. They are then fermented for up to 36 hours depending on the weather. Once fermented they are further dried for between 8 and 15 days.

Why No. 139? - This is the number of volcanoes in Indonesia
